Reebok, who are Lewis Hamilton s main personal sponsor, have commissioned a portrait of the McLaren driver by artist Ian Cook. The painting of the Brit s face will be 96 metres square when complete.
The painting itself is no ordinary painting, and the artist has been chosen specially for his unique methods Cook, who has named his form of art Popbang Colour , drops paint onto his canvas and then manipulates it by using remote control cars instead of paintbrushes.
Once complete, the painting will be hung near the Tower of London and will be on display throughout the final round of the 2008 Formula One World Championship in Brazil.
Cook has previously painted many other motoring themed paintings such as the Camaro Concept car and Lord Montagu of Beaulieu.
