Following the six-day test session in Bahrain, Red Bull will be adding a test session to the schedule before the season opener in Melbourne to try and cure the RB3’s pace and reliability problems. Most teams are making the Bahrain tests the last before the season begins, however Red Bull will be heading to a European track for further tests. France and Spain are the two favourites for the test session.
German magazine Auto Motor und Sport has stated they believe that the biggest problem the RB3 has at the moment is it’s compact transmission, although the team are also working on further improvements to their aerodynamic package. It is expected that the European test will see the RB3 trying out some new front and rear wings, along with a revised under-body.
