Despite a similar appeal being turned down in England, Max Mosley is seeking to prevent the video that caused such a scandal earlier in the month from being shown in France.
Mosley s request will be examined by a Paris judge on Friday morning and it is expected that a verdict will be reached either on Friday or early next week.
It is understood that Mosley is claiming protection under French privacy laws laws which are far more stringent that in the UK. He is also looking for 25,000 Euros in damages.
