Former F1 driver and race driver Jacques Laffite was given the chance to take the wheel of Renault s R27.
Laffite competed in Formula One between 1974 and 1986, achieving six race wins for the Ligier team and becoming their most successful ever driver. The Frenchman is now a commentator for French TV channel TF1.
The R27 which Laffite drove is the car that normally features in Renault s Roadshow, however Laffite s drive was part of a marketing scheme to be shown in the run up to a race.
