Robert Kubica is looking forward to testing in Barcelona at the end of November. He says he welcomed the short break away from Formula 1 but can’t wait to get back behind the wheel. “One month without driving is just a bit too much,” he explained. “The short break was, however, good because during the last two or three months, I took part in every testing session. Additionally, the last three races of 2006 took place in overseas locations”.
Kubica made an impressive debut in Formula 1 racing in 2006. His performance has earned him a full-time contract for the 2007 season. He believes that the team can continue to improve in 2007 and beyond. He explains, “The season was very good for me. Some things could have gone better, but there is no point in coming back to them. The good results in our first season show our potential, and with a good car we can fight for good results next year once more.”
