Giancarlo Fisichella has been given the all-clear to race by doctors after his high-speed shunt during testing at Silverstone last week.
The Italian was testing some upgrades to the VJM01 car when a gust of wind caught him at the final part of Becketts causing him to run wide and slam into the barriers. Initially there were concerns he had hurt his wrist, but luckily he sustained no injuries although he was taken to hospital as a precaution.
FIA doctors at Silverstone have examined the driver and passed him as fit to race for this weekend s British Grand Prix.
