Davidson hoping to stay in F1

Super Aguri driver Anthony Davidson is hoping that despite the collapse of Super Aguri, he will race in Formula One again.

Before earning a race-seat at Super Aguri, Davidson spent some years as a tester for Honda. The 29 year old Brit has said that the collapse of Super Aguri is a bitter blow to him however he is hoping to remain in F1.

“I am fully confident of my ability behind the wheel and I am sure things will be better for me in the future,” Davidson explained to the BBC.

“F1 is the priority at the moment and for the future it s what I have to do; it s what I am trained to do. I really want to concentrate and get a good chance to do it properly.

“I feel it is unfinished business for me in F1 I feel it is where I belong. You only begin to realise just how much you love it when it s taken away from you. You never know in this game what can happen. You ride the ups and downs on this rollercoaster and if it s been a downward slope today, then I m sure I ll bounce back.”
