Bridgestone have confimed that their technical manager, Hisao Suganama, will be leaving his Formula 1 post. It is predicted that Kees van der Grint and Jun Matsuzaki will spilt the job between them in 2007.
Suganama is returning to Japan to ‘focus on other areas of Bridgeston Motorsport’s racing portfolio’. Suganama commented that with Bridgestone being the only supplier in Formula 1 next season, their focus will shift from performance.
