Brawn hints at retaining current driver line-up for 2010

Ahead of contract talks next week, Ross Brawn has indicated that the 2010 Brawn GP driver line-up may remain the same.

Although Jenson Button s future is thought to be safe with the team, many in the paddock have expressed doubts over whether Barrichello will retain his Brawn GP race-seat. However following the Brazilian driver s win at the European Grand Prix last weekend, his changes of retaining his place in the team have increased.

When questioned over the future of his two drivers, Ross Brawn commented, “There is no good reason not to [keep them both]. They are both doing a very good job so I think after Spa we will start to look at it.”

With both drivers now winning races, the question is whether Brawn GP are happy to stick with a tried and tested driver line-up or whether they will give up a successful, experienced driver and bring in a young driver to help him gain experience in the sport and to look to their longer term 1 future.
