Formula 2 driver Mirko Bortolotti has been linked with Toro Rosso for 2010. The rumours add to the speculation that Jaime Alguersuari may not race for the team next season.
Bortolotti tested for Toro Rosso at the young drivers’ test day last month although he is not officially part of their young driver development program.
Meanwhile, over at Sauber, Giancarlo Fisichella has been linked with a race seat for the team in 2010. According to rumours, Sauber are currently evaluating who would be best for the team – Pedro de la Rosa, Kamui Kobayashi or Giancarlo Fisichella.
Peter Sauber is keeping his cards close to his chest revealing only that a deal has been signed with an experienced driver from another team.
