Kazuki Nakajima made his debut for the Williams team at the last race of the season in Brazil. Unfortunately, not everything went to plan. The young driver came in to his first pit-stop a little bit too hot and hit two of his mechanics.
Williams declined to release the names of the mechanics involved in the incident. It was originally believed that one mechanic suffered back injuries, whilst the second suffered leg injuries. After spending a couple of nights in hospital for observation, it is understood that both mechanics have now been released from hospital and will be flying back home later this week. It is believed that both and bruised and sore but have not sustained any serious injuries.
