Did anyone see the documentary last night on the 1955 Le mans race? 83 people killed and over 200 injured and i didnt even know about it. Was interesting how the american driver cant remember his name blamed Mike Hawthorn but it didnt look like his fault to me, had some good footage of Moss, Hawthorn and fangio. Its still available on BBC iplayer,

It took Mercedes 55 years to get back into the sport as a mfr because of that.
