Basicly I'm in Vegas for the new year 28th dec-4th jan(night flight out so is late) and was wonding about catching a nfl game whilst there.

I think the week 17 is on jan 3rd.Is there any direct flight from Vegas to either Arizona (think this ones sold out),Oakland (don't think there is for this one)or Denver as I believe they're all at home the final week.

I think they're the only ones I stand a chance of getting back in time to leave. Also is the any chance of the dates getting changed for these games ie to monday night for the sake of tv

Which are the cheapest internal flights over there please?

You do realize that there are website's available that will assist you with every aspect of your trip, right?????

As I don't know the likelyhood of the game being moved and basicly have no idea which of the american airlines are cheapest no

Pfft don't worry about that now, just nip into the casinos in Vegas and you be able to afford any flight you want...

I hate Raider games, and Oakland. Did you look up Sand Diego Charger games?

Good shout hadn't thought of them :) Don't suppose you know of cheap internal flights aswell :) .Looked up american airlines they seem very expensive.

Havn't been to the states for about 7 yeas, but there was a good firm i just can't remember the name

You know the train isnt a bad idea! The last time I was in Vegas I dont remember seeing a train station, or trains going through town :scratchchin:

The trains here are slow though. I remember I took Amtrack from a nearby town in Salinas to Santa Barabara, which is only like a 4 hour drive but it was like 6 hours by train. It was fun though.

Yeah thats a good idea, but dont they charge you by the mile too?

I must say though, you shouldnt go to Oakland. Its such a crappy and ugly city. I think you'd enjoy San Diego, because its a very beautiful city and there is a ton of stuff to check out, plus its not that far from Vegas. You could also check out a 49ers game in San Francisco which is another rad city.

I think only if you go over a certain limit of miles per day.

Thanks for all your help people :) .Just booked tickets for the chargers v redskins :D .Will go on the advise of hiring a car to get there. :D

Chargers/Redskins should be a good game, especially since we (Cowboys) play them too.

That distance in driving should take about 5hrs or so. Not too bad, for a Texan anyways. If you don't feel like driving that distance, check Southwest Airlines, they are usually one of the cheapest and probably have a handful of flights a day back and forth.
