I get excited seeing them pulling it off too...

Anyone seen the first race of the MP4-12C GT3 at Spa last weekend? IT was an invitational non point scoring entry in the British GT series. Did alright on debut.

Saw the GT version of the car at Goodwood (Button was driving it up the hill i believe), it's an absolute beast in race trim

Having seen all the reviews in magazines and on the TV, I wasn't overly impressed - not really my cup of tea as I tend to like odd, bonkers cars :) But then I'm not a huge fan of the latest gen supercars either.

I was in London last week and popped in to see McLaren and in the flesh the car is absolutely stunning  It was interesting the salesman said that he felt McLaren were too cautious with the cars and what they would/wouldn't let journalists turn off - and he said he felt it definitely meant more negative reviews in the press as the journos couldn't see the full capabilities of the cars.

Would I buy one? No... if I had the money, I'd wait for the hard-core GT version (£300k+ ) which is apparently coming soon.

As a small aside - they have one of Senna's cars in the showroom so if you can get in, it's well worth a look :)
