Hi guys and girls,
New to the site, but a long time watcher of F1 (and lurker here).
With all the talk of GPs moving (UK to Donnington, F1 back to Canada shortly, perspective Indian and Russian GPs, Fuji going under, new Abu Dhabi and Korean tracks ect, ect), I was wondering where your preference(s) would be for either new or returning GPs.
Personally, I'd love to see more North & South American GPs (bring back Watkins Glen!), perhaps with a return of Argentina or Mexico to go alongside Brazil, as well as US and Canadian GPs. A 3-4 GP Americas leg would be great. Another would be the return of South Africa and Kyalami. Moto Gp's headed back there this year, I believe.
I'm a huge fan of circuits with large elevation changes (Spa, Nuerburg, San Marino, Monaco), but I've found that the recent fashion for flat street circuits (Melbourne excepted) has not really done much for F1 as a motor sport, as opposed to F1 as a spectacle. I await Abu Dhabi with interest, as it looks like it has major potential with two big braking areas and a couple of interesting complexes.
What say you?
