Good thing or bad thing?
In my opinion its surely a bad thing for the traditional rallies, such as monte, finland and GB.

Good thing if it encourages more manufacturer input in the wrc?

I love Rally but I cant decide if this is a positive or negative action? I used to keep up with Rally back in the early '80's, especially Group B, but since we now have vitually NO coverage here in the U.S. I cant keep up with it.

Coverage of rallies is, in my opinion anyhow, generally poor. In the UK you are never allowed to see one driver complete a stage. Instead, what we get is a cameo shot of each car going around a certain corner and, occasionally, you will see the final corner or two of somebody's stage to see if they can beat another's time. I like rallying, but the coverage isn't worth watching.
