it's the global market, f1 is a business that turns into a sport for 1 and a half hours every other week. To me and you it's a sport to the engine that governs it, it's a business sad but very true

I'm with schumi, it should be a welcome spectacle, not an advertiser paradise.

Perhaps it's time to ban advertising in F1? That would provide a shake-up!

But as schumi pointed out, F1 is now a business first and foremost. Ban the advertising and you lose a LOT of revenue. That's going to have a lot of knock-on effects, so that's never going to happen. Example - Vodafone are reportedly going to be paying McLaren $50 million dollars in advertising revenue next year.... :shock:
