Who out of this list is the best balance between abilty and unerated/least luck driver? In other words out of the given list who is your favourite?

I voted for Alesi but would have voted for Montoya if he'd been on the list :D

I voted for Berger, other drivers I'd consider for the list would be Riccardo Patrese, Johnny Herbert, Thierry Boutsen, Karl Wendlinger and Derek Warwick. :)

Alesi/DC. Went for DC in the end.
I have nothing more to say on the matter (for the time being)

I voted frentzen personally. Alesi and Jos were also very entertaining but frentzen drove the wheels of a Jordan and was a fiery character!

Alesi could have been world champion. He was always in the right car at the wrong time. Had he gone to Williams he might have won a title, but we all know he went elsewhere.....

Do not underestimate the power of the darkside - may the poll be with you!

you have three drivers in your list that are not 'of the past'.

Panis pre 97 was amazing. Then he crashed in Canada :( and got really bad.

Jos Verstappen never got a proper go.

Yes I agree Panis was starting to show some skill and speed until he crashed out in Canada, then he was never the same.

I voted for Alesi, but I could also have gone for Coulthard or Berger.
