Couldn't disagree with people more regarding Mclaren and Lewis. Rules are rules and Williams/Sauber broke them. Irregular fuel temperatures could of provided up to 10BHP more power. I cant remember the exact details and who the drivers were but when this happened before both the drivers were stripped of all their points, where is the consistency? You bet you life if it was Mclaren they would of been penalized

I smell a rat with this whole championship, I mean why did Mclaren not pit Lewis when it was blatantly obvious his tyres were running on canvas, I could see that on TV! Also how come his gear box suddenly selected neutral all on its own! and also why the hell didn't McLaren fuel him up on the second pit stop until the end of the race? something is not right even Eddie Jordan has started making noises in this regard. Ok so Lewis did lose his cool a bit and showed his inexperience but that issue with Alonso would not of put his championship at risk, he is class. Personally I want Button to get in a good car and do the biz, so hopefully we will see that sometime in the future.

One thing is for sure Lewis wont want to win the championship in this way if by chance he does, which I dont think he will. What an embarrassment to the sport that would be. Kimi had a great drive and he does deserve to be world champion one day, but he should not win if williams/Sauber cheated with the fuel temperatures!

stinks, if Kimi looses the championship because of another teams misdemeanours, then some heads, seriously need banging together

If Williams Toyota and BMW cheated by fuel irregularities, then didn't Lewis and Mclaren also cheat by using more tyres than allowed? you say rules are rules, so what's the diffrence?

That was actually in practice and not during the race, and they did get penalized they got fined.

Kimi is champ and should rightfully stay as such, been to much politics this season deciding fates without deciding the drivers championship in the courtroom, champ stays and any fuel rules broken if punished should be dealt no more than a fine ;)
not bad for a Ham fan
hopefully everyone can see sense and move on to 2008

I agree with that summation and I too have absolutely nothing against Raikkonen.

Well, how about the Kimi-Hamilton incident where the latter slowed down Kimi. Ferrari decided not to complain and I think McLaren shouldn't either. There was enough evidence to implicate Hamilton (in my opinion) but he got away with it. If he got penalized, he would have started from the back and who knows where he would have ended up at the end!

Well... when McLaren was punished with money and constructor points, drivers were left where they were. Same analogy, Williams and BMW should be punished with solid cache and (some) points off if found guity, but drivers should keep their points if same rules apply..?
