Ferrari are starting on the ultras while Merc are starting on the supersofts. Looks like Ferrari are able to make the ultra's work and still achieve a one stop strategy. Mercedes could not get them to last long enough.

I don't think starting from the front couple of rows is that important for the top teams anymore, the likes of Ferrari, Mercedes, and Red Bull have such an advantage over the rest of the field, they could start from the back and still occupy the first six places at the chequered flag.

I am surprised how poor the Red Bull's were in qualifying at the RED BULL RING! Hopefully, they are better in race trim.
