Stunning!!

If I ever win a lottery, I'm going to pack my bags and go to every single race on the F1 calendar!
I'm going to start on that dream by buying lottery tickets!!

Interesting that the Ferrari art has a driver number for the first time.

Just as interesting is that Kimi is the ice man, yet the background is a hot red!!

Vettel admits lack of pace down to him, not car

"Sebastian Vettel says his lack of pace in practice for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix was down to him not being up to speed rather than anything wrong with his Ferrari.
The German was 10th and 11th fastest in the two practice sessions in Baku, prompting suggestions that his team had gone the wrong way with its car.

But Vettel put his hand up and admitted that the lack of a decent place on the timesheets was down to him not finding his limits quick enough.

"This place is a little bit tricky to find the rhythm, it is not so easy," he said. "This morning I didn't find it and at the beginning of the second session I wasn't up to speed.

"But I was pretty happy with the long run in the end so it is okay."

He added: "I think the car is fine. As I said, I didn't get the laps together. It can happen very easily here with little mistakes here in braking – but the long run was a lot better.

"We can improve the car a lot for tomorrow and then we should be okay."

Kimi Raikkonen elected to sit out most of first practice to make set-up changes to his car, while in the second session he was second fastest behind Daniel Ricciardo."

SV got robbed of a win by SC, then outfoxed himself of a potential win again, VB got robbed of a win thereafter. Lucky winner LH. There's always some sh!t going on in Azerbaijan...

They are BOTH lucky there were no injuries.
At the speed they were travelling, that in itself is a miracle.

Really? I saw it as a calculated move that went awry.
After all, had he been successful, he'd be seen as a genius.
At the end of it all? Perspective, eh?

... VB got robbed of a win thereafter...

That was a heart breaker! Poor guy did everything right and what does he get in return?
A freaking puncture... a freaking DNF... a freaking sad story...

... Lucky winner LH...

Honestly? I want to be mad at him; but, I can't be.
He had the decency to acknowledge this wasn't so much of a win
as it was a lucky day for him.

Anyway.........

Well, it was good to see some new names on the points scorers list, time for some sanctions on Verstappen, four incidents in 4 races, this is a pattern, lack of experience is no excuse, he is in his fourth season of F1. I have to put the blame squarely on the Dutchman, Ricciardo tried to go right, then left, by the time of the second defensive move, Ricciardo was too close to do anything but rear-end Verstappen. Bottas was unlucky, getting a puncture with 2 laps remaining, robbed of a certain victory. Vettel, frankly his lunge at turn 1 was uncalled for, a definite unforced error, much like last season, is there where we see a Mercedes resurgence? And Grosjean, what can we say, hang your head in shame, crashing behind the safety car.
