A bit like some people who are choosing to leave this forum.
If you can't compete then you had better get out of the game.

This isn't about the self centred little bubble that is London anyway, the rest of the country has suffered because of the EU. Industries in this country have suffered as the EU decided to do
Short term there will be uncertainty but long term we will fair better being out of the EU with our own deal in place. Its not like we are going to stop everything we do with the EU anyway. Trade will still happen and so will migration. Only difference is we won't be being dictated to by the EU.
Long term we should be fine as there is now uncertainty across the EU with other countries threatening to leave.

The divorce has to happen before the new deals and divorces are ugly. Getting new deals that approach what was given up will be hard to accomplish and could take many years. Unfortunately a great deal of what will be the UK's economic future is in the hands of the UK's former EU partners.

It will make Germany stronger though as they prey on the smaller states.

The UK needs to apologize to the EU and beg to be allowed to stay.

To be honest, I was surprised that it was even put up for public vote; America would never have a public vote for such things. The public elect a government to represent them; not have a vote every time an issue comes up. The public can not make an informed decision, they tend to be easily swayed by propaganda, which was the case with Brexit.
