Sagi, sagi, sagi, dont be in such a hurry to capitulate, hang in there, make some wise cracks, obfuscate things a little, allow us the chance to rough you up a little. So far your saving grace is that you are generous with your ""good sport"" iness. - Yes you always start reporting and complaining behind the scenes to the feds, but its still marginally more sport for us than the F1 fan yardsticks who flounce off and return with new ids to bank the "benefit of doubt" complimentary pass, before turning round and assuming the position for another """interaction"""

I thank all you yardsticks out there for having made this off season a wonderful time for the HDL to reflect and reminencse before the main vaseline mandated show starts

Mercedes won't allow it. So, they "need" the buffer of not allowing other teams to catch up?
As far as I'm concerned, this is as close to cheating within the rules as you can get.

Did I call them cheats? NO, I did not.
Did I say it was close to cheating within the rules? (oxymoron)
Yes, I did. It's a VERY fine line.

So you believe that their can be cheating within the rules ?, (not just an oxymoron but also moronic) but your statement "this is as close to cheating" is not calling Mercedes cheats ?

If I said "I think you are as close to stupid as you can get" would you think I was calling you stupid ?

Being the dissenting team when it came to unfreezing the development rules is NOT altruistic,
as we are being led to believe. I would suggest to you that it's not "just" about keeping costs
down, in F1. It's also about holding on to a good thing, while they can.

I don't think that's fair, considering the majority of teams wanted the opposite. Is it cheating?
NOT directly. Is it being unfair? Yes, I believe so. Would Ferrari do the same thing in the same
situation? Probably. Would Ferrari be called "cheats" if the shoe were on the other foot? Yes!

Hopefully, that clears up my comment. If not, there's no more I can say.

I feel I have to speak up for sagi here...

Thanks!! What a lovely surprise!! You are actually such a sweet soul underneath, after all, eh?

...She could only answer that question correctly if she wasnt too stupid to misunderstand it :P

Oh!!! :yikes: Wait!!
Looks like Spring is right around the corner!! Image

You didnt address the little matter of lying about mentioning cheats

And you still do not have a clue about what you talk about

are you fkn mad?

what does this even mean?

I don't think that's fair, considering the majority of teams wanted the opposite. Is it cheating?

the majority of teams wanted what?? name these teams

everyone bar Ferrari and Red Bull just voted (a democratic vote, no unanimous vote needed) to keep the rules exactly as they are, AND there is no engine ""freeze"" anymore, Ferrari found a loophole to float the homologation date, so Merc were OVERRIDDEN and the date unfrozen.

Name the teams that want the opposite

So, they "need" the buffer of not allowing other teams to catch up?
As far as I'm concerned, this is as close to cheating within the rules as you can get.

Ok so they NO LONGER HAVE THIS BUFFER - the other teams are allowed to catch up, everythings fair and good now???

Why not show us you have even an eight of a clue about these statements you made - what is wrong with the competition?

Why such sensitivity about this I wonder? Anyway the international media has covered this territory already wrt Mercedes. Maybe you should talk to them first!

A few headlines!

'Underhand' Mercedes may face cheat ban over secret tyre test
http://www.dnaindia.com/sport/report-un ... st-1840012

And in their corporate dealings the media has also pointed out certain Merc tendencies.

Daimler Sets Aside $748 Million Over E.U. Inquiry Into Truck Makers
http://www.nytimes.com/2014/12/19/busin ... .html?_r=0

This seems like a moot point cookin so why waste another 10 pages on here of jumping up and down on such a negative topic.

Maybe just call it a day! Racing, such as it is, is just around the corner.

You seem to have gone to a lot of trouble to support Sagi's assertion that Mercedes are cheats, I wonder why that is?
And what do we have? We have a sensationalist headline from the daily mirror ( :hehe: ) whereby Horner ( :hehe::hehe:) says he thinks Mercedes have been 'underhand' . Horner? The mirror? Is that the best you can do?

Then a load of articles about mercedes trucks and how to get around fuel economy tests. What's that got to do with MercedesAMGF1? Oh and some of the articles are duplicate topics.
You worry me Overboost you really do
