Hi everyone!
I've only just joined the forum but had a really warm welcome from Stephen which was brilliant. Already starting to spend a bit too much time reading the topics, so not sure whether I will dare continue and even start posting... of course I will
I tend to support the British contingent in F1, and until this season was a Raikonnen fan (just can't deal with anything Ferrari), but thankfully Hamilton has filled his Mclaren spot rather nicely.
My other reason for joining is that I am attempting to raise £1500 for the charity Scope. But rather than ask for sponsorship, I reckon you all might prefer to get tickets to the Williams F1 Canadian GP 'Race Day', and it just so happens that I have an auction running for that exact prize! Please have a look (link in my sig) as all the info about this really special prize is in the description. I would love for the tickets to go to some of the true F1 fans and not just some bidder who fancies a day out. All the money raised will be going to Scope so you would be making a huge difference if you place a bid.
Equally it would be wonderful if anyone might consider promoting the auction through other means, whether adding the link to their sig or just mentioning it to friends who have a motorsport interest. I am sure if the high bidder found the auction through you, I could probably manage to get a signed cap or something sent your way
I'll also be auctioning a race shirt signed by Nico, Alex, Narain and Kazuki in the next couple of days (again all for charity) so keep an eye on the Items For Sale section of the forum.
