If the crankshaft rotates 19000 times per minute, with 1 fire per cylinder per rotation (* eight) doesnt that make 152,000 per minute ?

each cylindar fires every TWO revolutins of the crank. However at every revolution, two cylindars have fired.

I thought the Corvette C6 racecar's were loud when I saw the ALMS race 2 year's ago but nothing compare's to a top fuel car that's for sure.

Yup. Tractor pulls also. And jet cars. I have yet to hear a F-1 car. One thing on my list before I expire.
