I hate for a driver to get hurt, and it's of course much worse still when one dies. I just found out a little while ago and I'm just not sure what to say.

Thoughts and prayers be with the family and team.

Just seen it on the news. I don't follow Indy, so had no idea who this driver was - but it was an extremely big crash.

It is very distressing to hear that he has left behind a young family. If it wasn't for that - I would've been extremely cold and say that it is a fact about motor racing.

But I cannot imagine the pain in that family, or how distressing it would've been to be there and watch it unfold. RIP.

Woke up to this news, seen the crash on the internet and it is horrific. Those oval tracks are not fit for open wheel racing. RIP Wheldon.

What a sad day. Horrific accident. Words seem inadequate.

Why don't they upgrade that damn cars, they are still constructed on the basis from 70's?!
