Just wondered if you'd managed to get round to reading the Tom Sharpe book, and if so what did you think of it? :)

Hoping against hope that I can crack it open over the Christmas break!
Will let you know!!

Anyone got any amazing Sci Fi book titles they would like to share. I have run out of books to read from my usual authors

Also, I should have asked for your recommendations. Best sci-fi books or just something you think is a different sci-fi take?

Michael Hicks Empress series is my favorite at the moment. Also the Spinward Fringe Broadcast series is good (however the authors name I can not think of at the moment)

A few years ago, I read "The Four Agreements" by Don Miguel Ruiz.
I woud read a few pages, put it down, think about what I'd read,
go back to it... over and again... I guess I read it at a time in my
life where I needed to reflect and that book got me to work through
a lot of things that had been piling up.

I thought I'd read through it again, this summer; but, the other day,
I was in a bookstore and found "The Fifth Agreement".

Haven't decided if I'll re-read the first book and then go to this one.
