F1 2010 game wins 'Sports' BAFTA award#244844

The 2010 Formula One game developed by Codemasters has secured the 'Sports' category award at the annual Gaming BAFTA awards.

The videogame, available on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC, fought off stiff competition from FIFA 11, Football Manager 2011, Pro Evo Soccer 2011, International Cricket 2010 and Gran Turismo 5 to be crowned sports game of the year.

It marked a comeback for F1 to the gaming platform since Sony Entertainment Inc failed to renew their license with FOM following the release of F1 Championship Edition in 2006.

Codemasters are currently working on the next release for the 2011 season, with further details to be announced before the first race of the season in Australia on March 27th.

Very surprised that GT5 didn't win this, but when you put all of F1 2010's bugs aside, it is an excellent game.

This game was released not long and if you have not had the opportunity to buy this game, then you should hit stores today. This is one of the most impressive sports game of the college to reach the market in recent years due to the excellent graphics, gameplay easier, faster and features fantastic game. The stages are designed to look exactly like the reality on the ground and paint the logo design team in the end zones.
