Folks just got a new telly, panasonic 55" passive 3d. the 3d is amazing (looked better than in the cinema) and totally comfortable to watch. They didn't have anything to play in 3D and the only movie I had on disc was Saw 3D which didn't go down too well with them but streamed star trek into darkness off PSN and it looked fantastic. I want one now.

Finally got around to watching Man of Steel last night.

Its an ok film, bit long.

The highlight for me was hearing the wonderful tones of Chris Cornell towards the beginning of the film.

By black hole do you mean their body of work outside of Pixar's offerings?

Breaking Bad fans...who were unhappy with how it ended with Jesse Pinkman (driving away while crying his eyes out with no real closure), here's your chance to imagine the continuation as thus! :D

I had a quick scan at the start of he thread, then skipped to the end.
Has anyone mentioned: No Country for Old Men?

Lets face it, most of the Ethan & Joel Cohen brothers films are pretty good!
Eh what?

That film is a brilliant piece of work. The set designs, the almost Orwellian feel throughout, the amazing cast, memorable characters (I'm still gutted that old Bob 'died'). Was also a pleasant surprise to see Captain Dan Holland (Robert Forster) pop up in the last couple of episodes of Breaking Bad! :)

The film gives me great memories of watching it many times when I visited my grandparents house in Aberdeen in the mid 1980s.
