Ferrari have announced that their shortlist for the 2nd seat is between Massa, Hulkenburg and Di Resta.

But Di Resta is quite tall. . .

I see, presumably Bianchi in Force India if Massa is kicked :cloud9:

Source by the way? I'd like to read the wording, :http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/19789183

Notice Benson made sure to quote a source saying Hulkenburg deal already done.

Maybe Ferrari are just telling Massa he needs to keep driving well to get a deal, just to encourage him 8-)

Ferrari targeting di Resta and Hulkenberg makes no sense when they dismissed Perez as not being experienced enough when both di Resta and Hulkenberg only have two years F1 racing experience with on additional year as reserve driver. The only logic I can see is that Ferrari were afraid that Perez is too much of a talent and would embarrass Alonso!

No sense in that, if the got a good driver, it'd be worth not having Alonso, Ferrari race to win.

Maybe Mclaren got to Perez first, maybe he was just saying stuff to dismiss the rumours, maybe there is a difference with Di Resta and Hulkenburg.

To be honest... i think there was more than meets the eye...

In any case, Luca made a mistake in saying Perez is too inexperienced. Or maybe, they just didnt want him and looked for a diplomatic answer. I mean, the fact Mclaren got him doesn't mean he's "all that" just yet ;)

Embarrass Alonso? Ferrari wouldnt allow that. Even Kimi was set aside gracefully.

Methink you could be right. He's a bright spark and a bright talent.
I find Hulk and Di Resta dull. Not saying they arent talented but  wake me up when they've finnished speaking. And boringness aside, I thik perez is better.

I think Di Resta is incredibly attentive and knowledgeable, love listening to him.

Which is my point, that's why di Montezemolo claimed that Perez was too experienced to avoid pairing him with Alonso!

I know this is a typo but it's still pretty funny....I wouldn't put it past Montezemolo to say this one day, anything to make Lord Fonzo happy. :hehe:

Button doesn't get up to any - he never has enough grip to be naughty.
