Sat on a hill with my back against a tree and watched the sun set. :cloud9:

Hope no dogs had been there before you. :hehe:

I was in a swirling, poetic world of my own, but it was always destined to be shattered when andrew and DD turned up :hehe::wink:

We could perhaps start a poetry thread? :)

Oh hell no!!!! :yikes: Song lyrics, yes, but poetry?

Sigh........ no appreciation of the beauty of the verse crafted by literary geniuses of past and present have we? :crying:

You can blame higher English for that. Too much time spent waxing lyrical about the meaning of each sentance and why an author chose a particular word and all that jazz - it wasn't good enough to say a book was good, you had to write page upon page as to why it was good. Put me off reading for quite a while it did!

I understand what you mean. Over-analysis is never a good thing.

Not much.

And as a result, I've spent far too much time on this forum! :loopy:

Just dug out my VHS review of the 2002 F1 season. Made me realise how much I miss Imola and the A1 Ring! :crying:

And Williams at the front... and Jordan... and Arrows... and Toyota... oh the list goes on! Don't miss McLaren's poor form in that season though!

2002 was a good vintage for F1.

A lot of "fans" were turned away by the Ferrari domination. I agreed with them that it was a bit tedious, but I stuck it through in the knowledge it wouldn't last forever! 8-)

No doubt you'd feel different if it was a McLaren domination. True F1 fans (regardless of who they support) were able to appreciate that they were seeing something special happening that doesn't happen too often or at least that's what I've gathered from other forums.

Oh yes. Indeed. That's why I didn't stop watching like some "fans". And as for McLaren domination... I'd still prefer watching the team win a closely fought battle actually. Mind you, McLaren have got some catching up to do to Ferrari in overall records!

Painted a room, I'd been procrastinating for some time and now after it's all done I'm sorry I waited so long, it looks great.

Isnt that just so with many things. It is with me. The thinking about doing it, is often much worse than the actual doing it.

In those dark years we could all appreciate what money, your own tyre, power and political influence could achieve.
