Button's best race this season I think, some of his overtakes really didn't look Jenson Button like, they were great!

Maybe he can be an asset for Mclaren next year. At a few races at least.

I'm a Jenson fan and he exceeded my expectations of him today, I had him down to finish sixth (which was on the optimistic side) in the F1 pool and he finished fifth, could have been fourth if not for an ailing KERS system; or even going back to qualifying, where could he have started without the throttle issue in Q2?

I have never doubted Button's ability to perform. I have always enjoyed his attitude when it comes to racing, enquiring about Felipe, focussing on the big picture, the race in it's entirety.

Yeah he sometimes struggles... But he is a unique driver and I really look forward to him finally having the whole team around him, and if they can set up the car to his liking, he will be a phenomenal force to contend with next year...

To be fair, i think that helped him in one respect cause he could start on the hard tyres, but he did generally have decent enough pace today and pulled some solid passing moves.

Funny that I was more optimistic than you on Button and less optimistic on Hamilton. McLaren had a good car today which helped and the temperature finally came up enough to make the car stick. It was an easy car to drive today.
