Yes I read about that. My question to you though, is if he did indeed wipe HIS blood all over that lady's face (I don't know if he did?)...I mean there has to be a limit to passion in character. :hehe:

I hate 3D. It gives me a headache, plus wearing the dumb glasses on top of my own glasses is a ridiculous experience to have to go through. I know others like/love the experience but it's not for me. But looking at this weekend's show times for Iron Man, there is a preponderance of regular ol' movie showing at this theater than the 3D version. Got me thinking, maybe I'm not alone in my feelings for the 3D format.

You're not. They're just giving 2D viewers a discount.

See, working in the military all your life means you don't the the corporate mindset process down yet. But you will in a couple of years.

Is it me or have cinemas become stupidly expensive recently

It depends how much you cost. :rimshot:

It's the food that gets me. Why's it so expenxive? Owning a cinema must be one of the best rackets going!

Make up some sandwiches before you go.

Aside from the headache issue, there are other options regarding the glasses like clip ons and you can probably get prescription polarised glasses, they might be quite pricey though.

I find the prices in Europe ridiculously expensive...I've only been to the theatre once here and already felt robbed! Now I get all those hate-posts on IMDB about how "I can't believe I paid for this blablabla"....for me if it was a bad movie I'd just be like meh and thinking its a bit of wasted time but that's about it. I mean you get to watch a 2D movie for just USD4 in Msia...or freakin iMax for just $8! It's around the same for 3D which I don't go for.

It's not likely to be a problem for me. It's been a long time since I've found a film that I feel the need to see before it come out on DVD.

What are you complaining about then? even if you did, there's nothing stopping you taking your own stuff with you. I agree it's stupid prices but as long as there're stupid people it'll stay like that but that's up to them.

I do occasionally go if there is something I am desperate to see.

Well' make up sandwiches then, and remember to wrap them up in something really noisy.

What's wrong with charging 20 dollars for a bucket of popcorn and a litter of soda?

paying for them is what is wrong with it.

The Local Cinema (Vue) for Iron Man 3 3D tonight would cost £14.25 a seat. ($22.17USD)
