He probably had to write out "I will not drive into Lewis or anybody else for the rest of the season" 10 times in the Stewards' office. :P

Mclaren screwed Hamilton over.

The Common sense decision was to stay out on track. Simple.

I would have slapped that Whitmarsh across his face with a two by four for making a decision like that.

What a crock of sh1t you just posted!

Mclaren didnt screw Hamilton over they played it safe and made sure at least one of there drivers was going to finish top, what would have happened if Lewis and Jenson had both stayed out and both of there tires ended up going off and somebody else had jumped into pole when they were pitting (webber probably) , people like you and some other nuggets on here would have been screaming why didnt they pit, everybody forget what happened the last time a Mclaren stayed out too long on the same set of tires try a you tube search for china 2007!

Rather than put all of there eggs into one basket Mclaren called it right by making sure one of them (it didnt matter which) came home, fate delt Hamilton a blow today nothing or nobody else was too blame

"Played it safe?" Allah and Buddah bless my soul! :yikes: What are you smoking? :rofl

3rd to 6th is NOT SAFE...

I'm not eloquent so I will let this article explain for me, I agree 100% with this:

Even Corky from "Life goes on" could have made a better decision.

There were news in autosport that Webber got "reprimanded" for Hamilton clash. What does it mean?

Just a talking too I would imagine, racing needs more people like Webber and Hamilton who are not happy just to follow the procession in front of them they like to attack and overtake which isnt a bad thing he was pushing it a bit today but thats what makesthe difference between a good race and a boring race..Bahrain two weeks ago hello..

What did you want - a lynching >>?? it was a racing incident. non more

First off, wtf is your problem seriously? I asked what reprimanded means, because i don't know the meaning of the word.. omfg

Second, Webber DEFINITELY should get a penalty imo, considering what the stewards did to Lewis Belgium 2008 and Webber Germany 2009

Nobody is denying Mclaren got it wrong, I'll even admit they got it wrong (too an extent), given that nobody had ever done 50 odd laps with the same set of tires and practically a full tank of fuel they couldent chance leaving both cars out but they made sure by pitting one of them at least one of there cars finished top at the same time

If Lewis had been first it would have been Jenson they pitted, it was just the way it worked out TBH

ivey. firstly , you have no recollection of F1 prior to 2008. Now you want to turn a simple racing incident into a major affair. its wasnt intentional. like RA dunk said . its what happens when you force the limits and what makes a great race. these things happen. would you ave gone on the way you do if it was the other way round ??

Wtf is up with doing almost the entire race on the softer compound anyway? Just shows what a joke the 'use both compounds' rule really is, if they want to force the pitstops don't use such a false rule, make the tyres only last short stints and have a bigger difference between the two compounds.

Sorry, back OT.

Lewis has every right to be annoyed but probably shouldn't have said what he did in the interview. Imo he drove brilliantly and deserved more but that's racing.
And Mark got stupidly tangled up twice with Lewis, he should keep his opinions about the rookies to himself in future.

On here I have seen stupid remarks, yawning emoticons following a quoted post and taking the p*** out of peoples posts, people called muppets and someone wants to take Lewis's radio away and antoniob? Well no sense there.

Yet, many of these posters are the self same ones that are calling Lewis whinney and childish etc? :hehe::hehe::hehe: yeah right!

So them being "whinney and childish" (please forgive me for assuming your not calling me "whinney and childish" means therefore that Lewis cannot have been whinney and childish?

So Lewis complained so what? The team made a bad call and he said so, what is the big deal? Why should he conform to what others expect him to do? The adrenalin pumping, people do say things, shows he cares, shows he wants to win, what is the problem? Why is ASKING why he was pitted seen as whining? he asked a question, he is the one out there putting his life at risk, I think he is entitled to ask.
Seems to me people on here just want to call him just for the sake of it, if he did start conforming to *your* ideas of what he should and should not do, who would you have to pick on then?

Go admit it, you would all be gutted to lose your scapegoat.

No he did NOT complain about the tyres before he pitted.

you come accross as very familiar. tell me some .. you have a point to all this then ??

What do you mean I sound familiar? What are you paranoid or something? Why shouldn't I have a point to all this, you have, you make your points (usually facetious) all over these pages and you just blasted someone for asking a question,WTF is the matter with you? And you have the cheek to call Hamilton? Pot - kettle- black!
BTW you blasted that other person for asking a question yet you have been persistently getting everything arse about face! Like writing more than once that Lewis was complaining about his tyres before he pitted, which race did you watch then? Obviously not the same one as the rest of us.

Lewis did NOT complain about the tyres before he was pitted, he said they were fine F-I-N-E.
