If you think about it the Yanks were 2 years late in joining WW2

And if we had not done so, you would be speaking German right now and unable to understand what I'm typing. :hehe:

You...are...welcome.

As for USF1, thank god it's finally dead. An underfunded back marker of a rolling chicane is certainly not going to generate any buzz on this continent.

Um...you see, we won that war...so I don't sprechen. I did take a few german classes back in college but I retained it just long enough to take the finals.

The xenophobia on here truly disappoints me.

 Oh that's right, it's got nothing to do with people being genuinely upset at being robbed of the promised 26-Car Grid because some people did a bad job running their operation. Nope, it's because they're American. Damn those Americans and their massive contributions to global society

Obviously you are too illiterate to be able to read what people have actually written in this thread.

Crawl back under your rock.

I hope we're not going there, USF1 have failed to make an f1 car, and we're not seeing a 26 car grid.

 Case closed imo.

Why? I don't really understand what the big deal is if they are allowed to. So they had shitty management etc etc but I thought we all grasped the idea that more teams would be good for F1 aswell as for the fans. I'm not trying to argue with your opinion I just don't understand why USF1 should be permanently "swept under the rug" so to speak?

If next year more credible teams want to join, then they should get in ahead. I think USF1 should have to pass some very stern tests from the Fia before they're allowed to try again.

USF1 are kidding themselves if they think it's reasonable to guarantee them the 2011 spot. The spot should be re-opened for tenders. USF1 are welcome to apply again, but the FiA would have to be monumentally desperate to put them even close to the front of the queue

Yes, but we got there in plenty of time to lose 135,000 American lives by VE day. Yep, 135,000 telegrams that said your son, husband, brother, father is not coming back.

I bet your grandparents don't have your sentiment.

As far as USF1, if they can't hack it in Formula One, so be it. It's suppossed to be hard...that's what makes it the tip of the pyramid.
