I think the Commercial point of view has a small factor to play tho i don't think it would be top of the list for most teams.

I would certainly hope not, especially when it comes to a team like McLaren who have been around for long enough to know better!

We'll see. It's not a huge deal for me because I think Whitmarsh has made the team a lot more likable, but it's kind of disappointing to be torn from this team I've supported so long just because of corporate self-interest.

Mind you, corporate self-interest has been the cause of all my woes with Brackley F1.

At those prices? They'd be mad to. They don't need two all or nothings, and they certainly don't need Kimi No Sponsor Work when they can have a sponsor's dream pairing for less money.

I hold out a small hope that they will go for the outright better driver as you'd think any true racing team would, but i think money and marketing will unfortunately prevail.
