We cant have any more shitty new circuits appear on the calendar.

Cant the locals of Valencia and Singapore complain about the noise when there is racing on.

yea thats the funny thing, all these street races that go on year after year and nothings said, then theres the likes of Spa which is in the middle of nowhere with neighbours few and far between ends up getting shut due to noise

Mind you like already has been said.

Street race circuits are usually once a year unlike somewhere like Spa which has regular racing.

Although it is in the middle of no where and it looks like there is only a handful of places where people are living locally.

This happened at Monza a few years back and it got sorted. The thing is, racing has been going on at Spa since before WWI, so I'm guessing the noise is not a recent problem for the locals. Why complain now? I'm guessing it's some yuppie tw*ts from Brussels who have decided to flee the city to start an idyllic rural family with some idyllic rural pets and idyllic rural kids who have failed to properly research the area. For me, Spa is the only thing in Belgium which saves it from being absolutely the most futile and pitiful place in the whole of Europe.

yeh actually, i don't care for most of it. they make a lot and law of averages dictates that some of it will be good. Chimay Grand Cru is good but I can't stand Qwak, Duvel or any of the lighter stuff. Nor the fruit flavoured beers like Lindermans. Germany, Italy and Spain all have better beer imo. The food is great in Belgium too but you can get it done just as well in France. The only noteworthy things that would be lost if Belgium were to be nuked are Spa a few Trappist breweries and some nice art nouveau architecture.

Denied. Some of England is far uglier than Belgium but apart from the Ardene, most of Belgium is fairly drab and quite a few places in England are more picturesque than the Ardene. Belgium is kinda like the boring bit of Wales except there's more of it
