the olympics can never be fair

Having a natural advantage is fine in most cases, just look at Usain Bolt. However athletics has categories for male and female athletes and Caster Semenya is transgender, that would be an unfair advantage in a field that is specifically for females.

EDIT: Or is that intersex or a Hermaphrodite? This is all very complicated, poor girl.
True, but...would she have a significant disadvantage in the male catagory?

Its really unfair on her eitherway.

the paralympics is even worse, thats impossibly unfiar, but its definitly a good thing o have

transgender olympics? or an 'anything goes' olympics? [like frankie boyle suggested on mock the week

I find it quite interesting that she will be keeping her medal while Santhi Soundarajan was stripped of her silver. The rules should be consistent for all athletes, unless they they were governed by different authorites

EDIT: Oops, wrong smiley. That gave the completely wrong impression :yikes:

You think she should be allowed to compete in the women's category? I feel sorry for her, I really do but ultimately she has an unfair advantage and the other women shouldn't have to compete against someone who isn't techincally a woman.
