I look forward to valencia now, crap race circuit, but if Schumi's there its going to be an exciting weekend for sure

Indeed, what had the potential to be the most boring race in history now looks rather interesting.

Imagine if he won, though. I mean it's feasible, the F60 was fast in Monaco and Hungary and I reckon that Schumacher, even without any experience of it, could probably extract a lot from the car. That would be great for the sport in a year where politics has, once again, dominated.

Also, I just realised. We would be seeing two old adversaries (Schumacher and Räikkonen) driving for the same team! :o

Now that Schumacher is back, Räikkonen will be relegated to second driver status

Agreed.... I HATE raikenen.

hate is a little OTT
As he is talented, but you can object to the way he is as a person, Hate means you want him to die/or suffer. In which is a little sick

Gosh, I don't dislike him enough to want him dead  However I do dislike him as a F1 personality.

His real personality doesn't show in F1, unfortunately. Watch the McLaren video where he's playing golf. :)

hope massa is well soon but to see schumacher back is also great, even though i am a mclaren fan i cant wait to see him driving again... hope his fitness level is up to it.... can wait to see lewis kick his arse at spa in the rain.... omg cant wait

Shat up!!

7 Titles!!!!!!

no one else, has Mika got the balls to come back? No!!!!

Schumacher is back baby and i cannot wait!!!!!!

7 titles in 15 seasons is 46.7%, not as good as Fangio's 5 titles in 8 seasons - 62.5%

In fact if you express virtually any statistic on a percentage basis, Fangio comes out best.

And there's probably one or two old timers who's say Schumacher isn't worthy to wipe the crushed flies off of Tazio Nuvolari's windshield, but for the time being, shall we just say that Schumacher's pretty bloody good?

Quote BBC -"The German racing legend has not driven an F1 car since April 2008 and now has just over three weeks to prepare himself for Valencia. The ban on in-season testing means Schumacher will not be able to turn a wheel of the 2009 specification Ferrari before first practice on Friday 21 August".

Indeed. However, a comment posted on James Allen's website says that he would be able to run the F2008 to get some experience...

yeah as somebody said above i think they will mod it a little bit to give him the feeling, but then the cars are so so different, so they will have to change the mechanisms of the car completely to give him the right feeling, i think he will b in the simulator for a week & a half.

Regardless of the mothers' actions, he should have apologised. But in general, I just find him to be rather disagreeable. If I met him in person it may be a different story but I can only go on what I see on tv and from that, I simply can't root for him.
