And max has no agenda of his own?

Of course Max had his own agenda but he has achieved what F1 has needed for many years; to have a full grid for next season. How he went around it was a disgrace but FOTA's conduct was also as disgraceful. Releasing untrue statements doesn't achieve anything other than to try to discredit Mosley, it seems certain people are not happy with winning the battle. And now because of it here we are back to being in a state of flux while we exchange another round of insults!

I could name quite a few people who abuse power and achieve quite a lot. Doesnt make it right.
People like Mosely who abuse power, ridicule people and deal unfairly with situations and people should not expect any different treatment in return. How have FOTA been disgraceful? They struck a deal which said he had to resign and he couldnt bare the fact that they spoke out about the deal. Had they not spoken out do you really think he would have gone? He does what he wants and his word means poo.

This sounds reasonable to me and if Max cant swallow his pride and acept that that is what the vast majority of people want then i hope we get the breakaway.(Let me know if that link doesnt work-autosport doesnt always work if you dont subscribe. I'll post the article if thats the case-its by Noble and is Montezemolo's stance)

Regardless of who did what; we had a chance to compromise and safeguard the future of the sport but now because of one factually incorrect statement F1 is thrown back into complete chaos. Is completely destroying Mosley really that important that the whole sport needs to be dragged through the mud one more time?

As for Mosley re-running, I believe that he would have been obliged to stand down because it's a condition of the FOTA teams signing up!

Yeah and he keeps to his word Mosely doesnt he. Ask Montezemolo about that. He had a contract involving a rules veto and regardless of the rights and wrongs of him having that contact the fact is he had it. What happennd to honouring that contract?? I reiterate Mosely does what he wants and he has to be permanently removed from F1. Enough is enough. All the mud dragging of the last couple of year has been done by mosely.

Amen. Bravo. His loony comments alone should have resulted in his being fired.

Man, this love fest between bill and racechick is becoming eerie :yikes::wink:

Well, F1 is not known for firing people for their untrue utterances - see LH earlier this year

Oh, now you went and done it. :yikes: You brought up the Hampster. As if starting from the last row with both force india's in front of him....in Britain... wasn't hard enough on his fans... you have gone and brought up lie-gate. You are so in for it now. She is going to descend upon you like Juan Pablo on a McDonalds happy meal. :hooli-popcorn::morepopcorn:

:hehe: I suppose drastic circumstances require drastic measures. Did you notice that bud and I have agreed multiple times on the need to immediately remove Mosely's head from his shoulders? It's kinda wierd. As soon as we are rid of Mosely and his theatrics, we can all get back to arguing over the Hampster.

having Luca as a figure head for my cause kinda makes me feel funny in the pants.

We've all known about this about you for a while now - no need to elaborate :hehe::twisted:

Ahh But he made me happy at Silverstone! he couldnt do well cos his car was crap but he gave the only bit of RACING against Kubica and Alonso. I quote from the autosport report of the race
" But down near the back it was like a Formula ford race as fernando, Kubica and lewis engaged each other in battle. had thois been for the lead it would already be part of motor racing legend.................It was fantastic stuff, wheels side-by-side at 180-190mph, games of chicken on the approach to bridge, the driver ahead taking all the perfect defensive lines, the guy behind trying to induce him wide. All for 12th and 15th place and .............It laid the lie to Silverstone not making for good racing and engrossed the sell-out crowd."

Thats why I like him, he's a racer! And its why I cannot completely get hot over Vettel and Button and its why despite not liking them i have a grudging respect for Alonso and Kubica.

Ahh :yikes: Ive just written all this in a Mosely thread  Well i'll just have to repost it in another thread!
