I think although he is a better driver than jenson he`s alot less experianced as well, you take an inexperianced person in one job and give them a new job or role and mistakes will be made, its how they deal with and bounce back from these mistakes that make the difference over all

you do now know that u will be raped and pillaged by brawn and jenson fans :hehe:

It's not Lewis Hamilton's fault the Mp4-24 is a piece of junk. Give him a competitive car and he can beat Button or any other driver on any track on anyday. Your all just jealous that Lewis Hamilton is the best driver in Formula 1 today.

Well, actually, that's not quite true.

See Malaysia, Bahrain, Canada, France, Italy (qualifying) and Japan. Without those major mistakes, McLaren would have been able to focus much more on their 2009 challenger...

i really dont get how those mistakes if they didnt happen would have help this years cars :S :bs: and i get get why everybody always uses his mistakes :hehe:

Coz he would have tied up the championship earlier and therefore the team would not need to push so much on last seasons car to win, therefor bing able to focus on this year a little/lot more.

Had he not made those mistakes, the championship would not have gone down to the wire. Therefore, McLaren could have focused more effort on the 2009 car rather than having to bring a rather expensive modification to Interlagos (which didn't seem to do too much for their performance). I'm not saying it was all his fault - there were a number of team mistakes throughout the year (though nowhere near the number that Ferrari made >.<) and Kovalainen was not taking points off Massa at any stage.

and if the FIA had not ripped him off of those race winning points at Spa it would have been over sooner still no doubt

Funny enough i was actually at Spa for that one, went back to the hotel quite happy after the race thinking Hamilton had picked up full points, was sitting in the bar that night slurping a few cold ones when a huge cheer went out from a load of Ferrari fans who were watching the news on TV, but not being able to speak Belgian i didnt know what was on the news or what the cheers were for, wasnt till i got to Schipol the next afternoon and bought a newspaper in english that i found out, was pretty pi$$ed off to say the least when i found out :hehe:

Gutting! That happened when I was once in the Netherlands. But it didn't revolve around such an issue as that!
