The point is, whatever later nonsense, lies whtever you prefer to call it, because the stewards cant run races properly, Lewis got the car to 3rd. The issue was about what he does with an uncompetitive car, and the answer was get it to 3rd.

He didn't finish there though, so he did not get a Podium. But yes, I will give you he hauled the car into a podium position

Erm. He crossed the line in fourth place. It doesn't matter how much you wish it to be true, he did not bring the car home in third place. And, for the record:

Liegate unfortunately does hide the fact that Hamilton had a great drive in Australia, If he stayed put in 3rd behind the safety car none of this would be happening right now.

The 'ifs' of Formula One are worthless. There are millions upon millions of them, but in the end, you've got what you've got and that's the way it is. Shame, really, because sometimes the thing that could have happened was the thing that should have happened.

I agree with you Hamilton ended up getting what he deserves for lying about the situation, When he was in 4th behind the safety car he deserved to be there for a great drive. When he was 3rd he deserved to be there because Trulli went off the track behind the Safety car. When he was 4th again for letting Trulli pass he deserved to be there due to Mclaren's interpretation of the rules. When he was disqulified for lying to the stewards, He deserved that too.

I agree with you Hamilton ended up getting what he deserves for lying about the situation, When he was in 4th behind the safety car he deserved to be there for a great drive. When he was 3rd he deserved to be there because Trulli went off the track behind the Safety car. When he was 4th again for letting Trulli pass he deserved to be there due to Mclaren's interpretation of the rules. When he was disqulified for lying to the stewards, He deserved that too.
