He has been on the McLaren driver programme so he is that good and being in F1 has more to do with sponsors than talent alone. Vettel would not be where he is without Redbull backing.
clearly di Resta's McLaren Mercedes links have led him on his current path in DTM and with the Force India deal there is an opening in the F1 paddock in which theres no clash of sponsors.
Hmm, i can't see Di Resta being up to much in F1 to be honest, there are way better options than him....
why not? he was team mates to Vettel in F3 and owned him 20 to 1 so again why not?
If he was that good then he'd surely have been in F1 a while ago, or at least GP2... and being in DTM against the likes of Ralf Failmacher won't push you as much as the competition in GP2, and there are proven guys like Di Grassi gunning for F1 seats as well... that's my thinking anyway. I hope Di Resta proves me wrong if he gets a drive in F1 though!
