do you not understand what worsoning conditions mean?

if it gets wetter its hard to beat the previous times set in different conditions

Kimi has no excuse as he was on the right tyres from the get go, whats his excuse? maybe he does have no balls afterall

but congrats go to Sebastian Vettel on his first pole position and Torro Rosso ( Minardi) on Italian soil. good on em :clap:

balls up by lh, could be costly

what a quali

surely piquet for the boot?

hes only got 5 points on merit and NEVER looked like getting out of q3on a track he knows!
#65004
Well done to Vettel for his first ever pole, and Bourdais too for getting up there in the top 5 as well.

Nico's looking good for tomorrow as I reckon he's filled up with a fair bit of fuel and in the other quali sessions he was pretty much on similar pace to Vettel.
#65005
Bloody hell, congratulations to Toro Rosso. Vettel is looking like a fantastic prospect for the RBR family. Congrats to Bourdais again, he's done well in the last few races.

MW will have a good chance tomorrow if he attacks Vettel/Kovy from the off.

Perplexing what went on with LH.

retarded id say, why risk it, it was only q2! massa did well

reminds me of the mistake at the end of the last season that cost him the championship, stupid

bud were you watching the same thing as me.
Hammy was slower that the other even when he had the right tyres.
Most were still improving there times by bigger margins than hammy.

Yeh congrats to Vetell, Kovi & webber great job.

But don't worry bud I just heard that McLaren are going to put in a protest.
It seems its a conspiracy again.

There was a cloud following him around the track

Thing is, Massa improved his time whilst Lewis was going backwards. Perhaps a setup issue? I wonder if he was betting on a dry race...

Best qualifying session of the season, in my opinion. I thought that Heikki was going to take pole, the way he set five consecutive fastest laps in the first session, but congratulations to Vettel for taking pole away from Kovalainen. Congratulations also to both Webber and Bourdais - Red Bull will most certainly be pleased with this weekend, even if DC is way back (although he can take consolation from the fact that he out-qualified a McLaren and a Ferrari :hehe: ).

Also:

GO FISICHELLA!!! :D

First time out of Q1, in wet conditions, and it wasn't Sutil like we all expected! :)

yeah it was stupid to experiment with inters in Q2, atleast set a banker first and even if the inters would pay off theres nothing to gain from setting a blistering lap in Q2 anyway! Q3 is where it counts.

all in all we are set up for an intersting race with Lewis and Kimi in the back with Massa 6th and a probable wet race anything can happen and anyone can win!

I cant wait :sickman:

A dry set up, according to Gerhard, but then he's not sure. low down force probably helped to get grip, because the skid plank isn't aquaplaning as well as the tyre.
Not surprised at Heikies performance, having worked with him at Fortec. Monza was as wet as this in the F3 race this year and the winners were a surprise then. Off to GP2 now :wavey:
#65012
OMG as a mclaren fan im digusted at Hamilton he really screwed the pooch on that one, but as a F1 fan i cant wait for the race it could be one of the best we have seen in a long long time.
GO VETTAL

F1live commented on what drivers should do gambling on whether to set her up for the dry or wet, it would explain both Kimi and Lewis' times as obviously Lewis' times in Q1 were on the pace.

so if the race is going to be dry, look for Kimi and Lewis to move up the field big time
#65014
id like it to be semi dry

cause the grid is now mixed up we can see who can make a weekend out of it, NP to cfrash

i bet it didnt help lewis that he had the same tyres get more worn as the water came down in q2

what will be the damage? will massa do a silverstone lol

common alonso hope ur full of fuel, ive had it with NP!

I've had it with DC sadly. Great racer but his time is up. 6 points, 17th in the standings. Pretty poor. One of the reasons why we won't finish 4th.

its annoying when you have one good driver and one s*** one
