And on something I noticed a the other night while I was waiting to play tennis, a group of Australians being the biggest racist pigs ever. Making fun of the Chinese and further more of an Australian with an Asian name and also another Australian with a Greek name saying things like "How can they be Australian". Now that is racist and really infuriated me, not the stupid jokes of the Spanish basketball team.

youre a hypocritical idiot AKR by saying that about Australians you yourself are being just as prejudice! and its not like these so called ethnic minorities who have all these sob stories are no different either... they like to call Australians derogatory names along with creating ethnic gangs who beat up on white Australians.

and only a sympathiser to the Spanish would say they are not racist in this photo and it would not have been taken for the Australian basketball team who you say are the biggest racists in the world.

Camon now, I think we just misunderstand the Spanish. They are not racist, they are great people. The basketball team was just doing a jokingly jesture. Its not like anyone else has never made those kind of jokes before. I am sure it happens in England all the time. That is just plain and utter bullpoo. Watch the Spain vs England football match in 2004. All the Spanish fans booing the black players as soon as they touched the football. It's known that Spanish are racist in sports. How many black players are there in the Spanish football squad? 1 out of 25. Black Spanish tennis players? None. It's well known they discriminate ethnic minorities.
As for England no it doesn't happen. Even though there are racists they keep it to themselves. I agree with the chick that these kinda things are stamped out early on in people's lives.
I can't really comment on Australia. But on topic Usain Bolt is on fire. He was just looking around as if he was having a stroll in the park.

Get all defensive why don't you. Like you know anyway. I know many Italian "background" and Greek, and Croatian, and Vietmanese etc that although are proud of there background are also very proud to be Australian and the last thing they want are some idiot morons saying "how can they be Australian". And don't worry half the Italian immigrants in Australia are just as dumb and stupid. Take this, as soon as they hear my name they start saying crap like, "how can she be Italian", or "you are a Jugoslav" like f*** off idiot what education do you have. (that is directed to "them" not you Bud) First Jugoslavija doesn't exist, 2 I came to Australia from Italy with an Italian passport and furthermore I grew up there and know more of Italian culture than Slovenian. And on that note I was born in Slovenija not Jugos-I-am-happy-is-long-gone-slavia. Of course I only get this in Australia. In Italy no one questions me on my nationality or furthermore argues with me. So going back to the Australians of "ethnic" background, apart from the fact most of them were actually born in Australia making them rightfully Australian if thats what they choose, the racists morons who choose to say "how can they be Australian" need a good hiding.

Senna who plays for the Spanish Football team is black. Oh and he was born in Brazil but is Spanish by "Inmigration". I guess the Spanish don't say to Senna, "How can YOU be Spanish".

Well I wasn't intending to badmouth your nation if that is what I accidently did. I was badmouthing those racists people I heard saying those things which really annoyed me. A few idiots don't make a nation bad as the idiots are just a minority and found all over the world, including Italy and the like.

What about in, um...Veneto*, is it? Pastissada de Caval?

*My knowledge of the regions of other countries is poor, so forgive me if that's not how you spell it :P

But, you know, there are plenty of countries where it is quite normal to eat the meat of a horse. Austria, Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Slovenia and Sweden all do. And, to be honest (and I know Han's going to hate me for this :/), they have the right idea. It's quite nice stuff.

Now, on to the Olympics... I've been quite impressed by a number of efforts, but the one that I really enjoyed was the men's synchronised springboard dives, with those two guys from Ukraine taking the bronze. That said, all of the diving was good and I'm quite enjoying the badminton, too. :)

People are welcome to eat horse, doesn't bother me as what is the difference to slaughtering a horse to slaughtering a cow? In some countries people find it offensive to eat a cow, people over here just see eating a horse as being horrid because we have them as our animals. As long as their slaughter is humane and their travelling conditions are improved, as currently they are terrible and the ILPH are slowly decreasing the amount of horses put into a travel lorry. I have even see horses being slaughtered in the UK from undercover footage

Oh it happens in England! It is usuually restricted to the playground (where its stamped out quickly) or complete morons. However Prince Philip once notoriosly refered to the Japenese as "slanty-eyes". Mind you Prince Philip would fit in to the 'moron' category!!

Prince Phillip, is he Greek by the way? This is a serious question by the way.

Yes. Not sure of the exact connection-from the Greek royal family.
