I lost twenty kilos :D

I also gained about 20 centimetres, but that wasn't my doing (:

And I jog everyday.

And I've realised that looks aren't everything, so I should stop trying to hard to be pretty and just accept how I look (:

And I've kind of relaxed on the whole cleanliness thing.
I used to be quite obsessive compulsive about everything.
I was a psycho when I was a kid. Every other kid's 'monster in the closet' was my bacterial meningitis.
I'm not kidding. I used to buy Glen 20 with my pocket money.

Well done :)
Sadly I am image obsessed, I have problems with my skin that gets my down, so I spend and spend and spend on things, I do weekly acid peels etc, and I am OCD about cleanliness, I will get home from after a 9 hour shift and clean before I go to the gym :/

Any positive changes for me ? Im still doing well at the gym especially with my weights, I dont see many lasses do the weights that I do

I am also going to start driving lessons, because I cant ride my horse anymore I may as well do something with all my spare time :)

What's wrong with your skin?

I get Keratosis Pilaris, and just general young skin rubbish

Has only really got worse over the past year, many say stress isn't proven to have a change in your skins appearance, but I still think that is what is up with mine.

Ah well, I'm using a great company at the moment who use products with Glycolic, Lactic, and Salicylic acids which will help it.

Oh okay.
Luckily I haven't got as much as a pimple in my life :/

But don't spend so much money on silly things like that!
Crush six aspirin tablets and mix it with a tablespoon of water and put it on the affected area (:

And don't do it more than once a week. :D

It works on most minor skin problems.
You just have to do it consistently :)

I had a mental break down about a year ago, just after my son was born, my best mad died of Sudden adult death syndrome, then within in a few days my son turned up and was very ill, so i didn't know how to feel. Well my son came through his scare but i wasn't the same i woke up every day wishing i was dead and then i just couldn't face going to work so i tried to kill my self. I wasnt very well looked after as a child and was adopted and all sorts so my DR's belive when my son came it triggered alot of raw feelings inside me

Well now a year on im just starting back to work courses and i now am able to play and bond with my son witch in the past i wasnt able to do so, i have changed so much about my self my outlock on life and every thing im now very happy and planing to get married in 2 years time. This might seem like quite a depressive post but one of the darkest spells of my life has actually changed me for the good, 2009 seemed very dark but now it seems extremely positive, i still have a very long way to go but i know for a fact things cant get much worst than they did.

Im so sorry about your best friend, it is very hard loosing somebody.
I get depressed, my doctor has considered giving me anti-depressants in the past but I have so far declined. Im not in a good job, hate where I live, don't know many people here, some days I cant stop crying, and then finding out I can't ride my special horse again has affected me (probs sad I know) but things have to look up, I hope.
Its great that things are beginning to look up for you, as you have had a hard time from what you have written.
Its lovely though that you have a son and and are looking to get married in several years. I wish you a great future :)

UPDATE.

I'm changing school's if everything work's out, jeez I did not know what a hassle it would be just to attend uni! I'm trying to get into the UoH downtown campus which is only 12 miles away instead of 30 and the cost is about the same but they do not offer financial aid for the law enforcement academy :( so I must look elsewhere. The 8 month course is $2050 but allows me to spend less on gas, sleep, travel time.

So as it stand's these are the requirements for the first day of class which is also the orientation day,
Finger print/background check $10 - will be done tomorrow.
Orientation cost $50 - will take care of this week aswell.
$300 must be paid towards the course on orientation day  .
$100 for mental evaluation, I hope I can pass? :(:hehe: .
Must get a physical evaluation signed by a doctor but do not know what that will cost - I need a doctor as I do not have one at this time.

So the positives aspect are much better than attending Houston Community College for the reasons I listed. Aswell the tuition cost includes all uniform's and such which the HCC course did not, they measure and fit you for your uniform and physical training attire onsite from head to toe ie classroom and PT foot attire.

I met someone VERY cool yesterday at work and his name was also Gregg. I looked over and saw this cowboy, I'm serious he was dressed like Walker Texas Ranger with the cowboy boots, Wrangler jeans, western shirt and straw cowboy hat yet something set him apart. Strapped to his side was a GLOCK .45 and hanging off his belt was his badge and in the small of his back were his handcuff's. SUPER nice guy and I met his family aswell as getting some experienced advice from him, it made my day and gave me great motivation!

Now I must start some sort of weight/cardio program, of course after this weekend because it's my b-day, yet I will have atleast a full 7 month's to prepare for the final physical exam and by then I will be in FULL STUD MODE!!

Good look with the course and when you hit FULL STUD MODE be sure to post us a pic
But Tex I do worry about your role models!!
#130249
My biggest role model is my uncle Maurice who is a sheriff and battling colon cancer but the other Gregg is one aswell. Will do concerning the FULL STUD MODE pic aswell as a pic when I recieve my cadet uniforms.

Did my finger prints today but they messed up so I must go back tomorrow but it is a good thing because they can do my drug screen at the same time. Aswell the lady who runs the office gave me her personal doctors number for my physical evaluation which only cost $25 :) . Then I got even more great information concerning tuition. As I mentioned the course is $2050 but the $300 I must pay the first day is deducted from the tuition which leaves me a balance of $1750. I can get on a payment schedule with them and have a full 7 months to pay off the remaining balance so this meaning I do not need a student loan I can pay for it myself.

Finger prints and drug test completed woohoo! Cool thing about the drug test I did was it's a 10 point ie full test and you get your result's within 15min's. Getting my physical done next tuesday and then my psych evaluation done the following week so after those are completed I will be ready to start the academy  !!!!
