Lewis had his screw-up weekend; hopefully he's not going to repeat it too often, otherwise he might end up in the same bucket with Massa. I said last year too much pressure is put on that boy... and I still say the same. RD is just not handling him properly. Just NOT.

As much as I like Heikki, I said before the season and still do say now, that it would probably have been a better idea to put a more experienced driver alongside Lewis, one who is proven to be able to win races and also to consistently score points and podiums when a race win isn't possible. Ralf Schumacher, however much some people dislike him, was free at the end of the 2007 season. I honestly think McLaren should have signed him. I'm hoping I'm proved wrong, but we'll have to wait for that.

You could not have said it better. I agree that Heidfeld is underrated, the media seems to put him in Robert's shadow. Anywho the pair work extremely well together, and I could not be more happy for them. Ferrari were a little faster at Bahrain, but there will be a track where BMW is faster overall, we just need to wait.

I think Heidfeld is underrated because his teammates have all generally been faster drivers (or, in the case of JV, ex-champion). Heidfeld is fast but also consistent, whereas his teammates tend to be faster overall. It is his consistency as well as a really calm attitude that makes him great. :)

To be fair, up until recently, the media covered RK and NH fairly equally.

It's funny, I called NH Quick Nick for all of '06 and half of '07, but then I started thinking that RK (One of my favourite drivers BTW, remember the "I saw it also live" comment about he crash? Classic) wasquicker. And damn is he.

Regardless of what you may think, McLaren have yet to prove that their way is better. I will take back what I said if they perform as is expected. But I think someone with better development experience, as well as more experience in general, would have been a better choice.

I'm talking from a development point of view. It's still early, but I think that BMW Sauber and Ferrari will have the development edge over the course of the season. And RS is a fast enough driver. He's not his brother, but he isn't bad. A bit boring, maybe. Arrogant, certainly. But not slow.

Though, come to think of it, I forgot about Fisi, who would have been a good choice.

Hehehehe... I agree wholeheartedly and don't mind the zealousness at all, as after last year's season, I am secretly smiling to see Hamilton's glass house cracking. After living in London last year, and seeing how bias the press was, I am just grateful I'm no longer living there, as I dread to think what excuses the press are conjuring considering the facts of the current season. Fortunately, there is no arguing the points gap between Kimi and Lewis, as I'd rather see the WC title decided on the track rather than in a Paris courtroom. This year will continue to be a testing one for Lewis, hopefully not too embarrassing though.

NOTHING BETTER??????.. I think not.. the best would be for HK leading LM and everyone in points with 5 races to go.. Mclaren siding with HK and demanding LM to do anything he could do to support HK.. Last race LH looses his cool and takes out HK and kimi takes the championship.. LH begins talks with honda..

O sorry.. I'll wake up in a few..

That was funny, LH thought that with Alonso out of the way, and if Mclaren were as good this year as previous year and with the full support of RD, then he will clinch the WDC easily. LH made the big assumption that the reason that he did not win last year was because of Alonso and the fighting off track. However, HK will eventually get under his skin and the BMW (with their two wind tunnels) has come to spoil his party.
