As much as i agree, Brits are to far up there own sportmens arses, and we're stuck listening to it constantly.
I have to disagree about Button. He won in Hungary last year, and this year he was 3rd in Germany in the worlds worst Honda. Plus he pretty much out raced himself in Monza. Plus any great drive this year can look small in his terms, because his team mate is one of the best out.
Plus in 2005, he beat team mate Sato by 36 points. Thats a big gap, and when you consider to of those were podiums, he did very well
Jenson has never had a shot at the WDC, so he damn well desevres at least one shot
I think Button should get the seat and lets see what he's really capable of!!
And anyone who says he's not up to the challenge is a fool
No, anybody who says he is a fool. British people spend too much time bumming up their sportsmen, women and teams. Sure, Ten Henman was going to wipe the floor with everybody.
Button is a steady driver, who could do a solid job, however, I don't see him as the next big thing. Look at people such as Rosberg, Sutil et al. They have out-driven their cars, the marks of true racers. Button has not.
