Err, so was Alonso in a misfiring Ferrari, and Petrov in a Renault. That might be a crowded stratosphere.

ERR, :nono:
Faster then an RBR in quali

I felt the same, although the real satisfaction would have come if he'd been able to pass him! It set the tone for the rest of his GP.

I just thought of maybe why f1ea doesnt like Hamilton too much.

Is there some sort of historical dispute or common dislike between grenadians and dominicans?

Can we not? That's only going to lead to trouble.

LOL no it wouldnt lead to trouble...
and... no there is no history between us...

So please dont explain to me what im saying might cause trouble, mostly because you saying something like that is more likely to cause trouble then prevent it.

It was a more then valid question that only needs a simple answer, your subsequent respose highlights the lack of verbal reasoning often displayed on here. Something like that shouldnt even be thought to have potential for trouble.

like Tex and jensonb said...
political, religious and racial comments are more likely to bring out an unpredictable response, so its simply better to stay away from it....... not that in this case it was going to cause any trouble, as in my case i really didnt find it racist or offensive; but its usually a sensitive issue and some people could or might feel offended depending on the situation....... so its not that they are making something out of nothing, they are just expressing the possibility of things going nowhere productive out of something very small. Anyway...... dont worry 'bout it.

Now on topic... and i havent said much in this thread
Lewis vs Jens 2011 - Round 1:

Q - Lewis definitely better, no big surprise as he should usually be. Jenson wasnt bad, perhaps struggled a bit much like Heidfeld, Schumacher and Massa did, but anyways lewis was better.
RACE - well, its a bit complicated.... because Jenson had to deal with much more traffic and an adapted strategy resulting from those battles. They seemed to have equal pace (unlike Vettel-Webber or Alonso-Massa) so who knows how much gap there would have been between them at the end, had it not been for the penalty and dealing with traffic.

Judging by the result on this race alone... Lewis should trash him! but seeing the whole picture, the track/tire temps, the traffic, their relative pace etc it's still pretty open. They look like they are going to be really close. In fact....... watching how much action Jenson's race had, it was pretty amazing he ended the race grass-less and scratchless ;)

^^ I'd add that he was able to drive the car without a splitter, maintain position and not wind up in the gravel. Mature driving, reminded me of How Alonso nursed his Ferrari last year. Great drivers know how to get the most out of car but they know how to nurse a car over the finish line.

I think your reading into this too much FRAFPDD.

I don't like Alonso, because of 2007 and because he drives for Ferrari.

Lots of people on here think hes amazing and worship the ground he walks on, Not me.

Perhaps f1ea dosn;t like Lewis because hes a Ferrari fan, simple?

At the end of the day, it dosn't matter to you that he dosn't, its not going to affect your view of lewis is it?

No it doesnt matter to me, do people only ask questions that have a profound effect on themselves? That just silly.

Moreover your last line is a bit rich, the arguments your involved in (often) are almost always because you dont like someones opinion on Lewis, and that is the cold truth. Not really fair to hold me up on it, because youd see if you trawl my history i dont really care.

When did Alonso nurse that Ferrari? Aside from the engine, it was bullet proof. Well, he nursed the tyres in Korea.

I was honestly surprised seeing Jenson so aggressive. I've always thought of him as a tame puppy, and expected him to just follow Massa around. It's good to see he's finally grown something down there. :D
