Best not to group everyone in one lump. Some of us couldn't give a sheeps left nut about Hamilton. :sheep:

Sarcasm at its finest. :wavey:

I wasn't being sarcastic.

Italian Autosprint magazine reports the oddsmakers favour Vettel to win a third consecutive WDC in 2012.

Formula 1: Vettel favorito anche nel 2012

In Italiano, certo.

They put the odds at 2 1/4 to 1 that Vettel will three-pete, whilst they give Hamilton one chance in four and a half and Alonso one in five. Making special mention of Ferrari, as any good Italian newspaper would, they note the gamblers remain unconvinced the Scuderia can bridge the performance gap to the Red Bulls.

Am I the only one finds it ironic, after so many decades of Automobili Lamborghini failing to become the threat to Ferrari S.p.A. that Ferruccio had promised, that another "bull" has become the bane of their existence?

Well not much is changing next season aside from blown exhausts, and the race where they were switched off Ferrari won. So next year might not be such a walk in the park for Redbull like this season has been.

Last paragraph, yeah the tractor company couldn't do what a drinks company has. But at least Ferrari is Ferrari :P

This is a reward to all my hard work defending him last year - now he's a double world champion!

Now for the "youngest triple WDC" title.

Funny remark by him to the journalists after the race. "Well have you considered that Michael Schumacher is the youngest driver to get 7 titles?"

Goes to show that he doesn't care about the "youngest" title. He wants the real titles.

Lauda has tiped Vettel to match and beat Schumachers records. If someone is going to do it I hope it's Vettel.

Aww :censored: , mentioned Niki Lauda. Take cover! :tank:

I wouldn't bet on any driver before watching next year's car's performance. We never know, things might change drastically...

Vettel's only 24, he's got a long carreer ahead. Even if he doesn't win the championship next year (God forbid) he'll still have plenty opportunities.

As long as red bull can give him a competitive car, he should get at least 2 more championships in his career....It will all depend on how the regulation changes will affect the top 3 teams...

Sorry - but I'm quite prepared to see him win 5 in a row!

It'll be even more epic as a saddist that I am - because a few years ago we were all expecting Hamilton, Button, Alonso, perhaps Schumacher and Rosberg (Nick Heidfeld  ) to all win titles. We were actually expecting this to be the best decade of Formula One with so many awesome drivers.

But then the wunderkid that is Vettel comes along and destroys all hopes for an extremely competitive decade.

Secretly - I'm kind of hoping and expecting that Vettel will win 10 WDC's - perhaps all in a row. I'm not dillusional - that is really what I am hoping will happen.

I mean - why not? He is the best of his generation. We honestly didn't expect this a few years ago. We honestly didn't think an STR would win a race. We honestly didn't think Vettel would win the title last year, and we honestly didn't expect a double WDC at 24.

So after a few years of surprises over things previously unrealistic - I will unrealistically hope for 10 WDC's from Vettel - as I said last year.

But realistically I should assess after he wins his 3rd next year, and see how we go with the new engine regulations. And maybe hope for no more than 5.

Azza I don't think i can read your posts anymore they are just Wunderfanism styles :yuck:

Vettel is doing it at the exact right time. The regs have been ultimately stable since the 09 season with next big change to occur in the 2014 season. So prior to 2008 Redbull were not where they are today, if the regs stayed the same who knows who would be on for 3 or 4 in a row. So for Seb he has 09 to 13 to get titles, that is a good run for him. History has shown teams up front lose their edge when a major changes come along, as we Saw Ferrari and McLaren lose their place in the pecking order from 08 to 09. Lewis winning his first title in 08 just before a major reg change was well bad timing bad luck what ever you want to call it.
